29: National Shipbuilding Research Program (NSRP), Newport News, VA Facilities & Tooling SHAC (Safety and Health Advisory Committee) Meeting

The next meeting of SHAC will be held at the Virginia Advanced Shipbuilding and Carrier Integration Center (VASCIC). Agenda items include presentations and updates on: Maritime tag-out and work control processes; MACOSH organization and health sub-committee activities; ergonomic best practices; upcoming regulatory agenda items; and OSHA/NSRP Alliance activities; including e-Tool, SHIPs and maritime fatality videos.  A security pass will be required in order to attend. To obtain a pass, you must request the pass on your Company letterhead and provide the following information for each person who will attend: Name, Citizenship, SSN, date and place of birth, and date of visit.  Security pass information must be faxed to (757) 688-6007 no later than April 26, 2004. Passes will be located at the guard station in the lobby of the VASCIC.
