Conference on Shipbuilding Applications for Industrial Lasers (SAIL Conference
The conference is being sponsored by the Applied Research Laboratory at
The Pennsylvania State University, Fabricators and Manufacturers Association
International, Fraunhofer USA, the National Shipbuilding Research Program,
Naval Sea Systems Command and the Office of Naval Research. The objective of
the SAIL Conference is to avail to the international shipyard community and
maintenance organizations the current state-of-the-art in laser processes,
practices, and equipment related to this industry. It will include laser
technology related to new ship construction, as well as maintenance and depot
